The crusty original brake and suspension pieces needed an overhaul, but fortunately (non-chrome) parts are generally cheap for a '57 Chevy. |
I've been restoring and modifying a 1966 Ford Mustang Restomod with engine, suspension, and brake upgrades, and new paint and interior.
I'm also fixing up a former-road-racer, supercharged 2001 Bullitt Mustang.
And my '57 Chevy Bel Air needs just about everything.
My blog chronicles my mods and repairs, road trips, car shows, and new stuff along the way!

Project StinkBug: I Brake for Restomods
I decided to leave the brakes as the stock non-power drums on all four corners along with the single pot master cylinder for a stock appearance. But I'm in the middle of replacing everything for safety.
