And Then There Were... Three?

I wasn't in the market for a third Mustang, but an opportunity came up and I figured I'd take the plunge. This car was built by a friend who did most of the work on a fox-body '89 notchback that I owned many years ago.


This is a 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt, that was heavily modified to compete in the One Lap of America event about 4 years ago. It's been sitting for a couple years in need of a new engine. At one point, it was putting down 585hp at the wheels with a Vortech race-only blower.









A new, more docile, supercharged engine is going in now, and some various maintenance items are being completed to get it ready to hit the road again. I'll have more details in the coming weeks, but here's the assembled engine waiting to be installed.
